I am currently in my final year at Baylor University where I'm working towards my bachelor's degree in health science and pre-medicine. As someone completely fascinated by the life sciences, I love learning about biology, anatomy, and physiology and sharing my knowledge with anyone who's interested. The reason why I decided to become a tutor is because I believe that not every student gets the same access to a quality education, and I want to help mitigate that by preparing underequipped students for the classroom and the professional world so that have a chance to succeed. I believe that after-school assistance is one of the most effective ways for a student to increase their understanding of a subject. Instead of learning at the teacher's pace, tutoring gives pupils the opportunity to learn at a speed they're comfortable with, so that they're able to process and understand their coursework. My goal is to do more than prepare students for exams. I also want them to grow up and become critical thinkers who continue to learn more on their own and become the next generation of doctors and scientists. When I'm not studying and teaching, I like to spend my free time reading books and baking new things.
