I just recently graduated from Pepperdine University with a BS in Chemistry and an applied mathematics minor.
Experience
I have had experience tutoring for elementary to college students, both privately and for tutoring companies and have been tutoring various students for 5 years. I am most comfortable tutoring in all subjects of math to the high school level and advance chemistry. My tutoring experiences lie mainly with helping students with their homework and for test preparation. I have realized during my tutoring experiences that many students can struggle in a formal classroom lecture setting, but just a few hours of 1 on 1 tutoring can really help students grasp a subject and understand the content of something they struggled to understand in the classroom. It is rewarding to see how tutoring can really help struggling students, and I would love to help in any way I can.
